Track Monthly Budget ("we", "our", "the app") is a household budgeting app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password.
- Budget and financial data — the categories, amounts, transactions, notes, salaries, and contribution splits you or members of your household enter into the app.
- Household data — names and roles of people you invite into a shared household, and any activity/requests they submit.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide solely to operate the app: to store and sync your budget data, calculate household contribution splits, and show your spending summaries. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a third-party cloud infrastructure provider. Firebase processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments as a data processor.
Sharing
Data you enter is visible only to you and the members of the household you explicitly invite. We do not share your personal or financial data with any other third party.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us using the email address below.
Children's privacy
Track Monthly Budget is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
